Game Glocalization As Business Driver & Warranty

Glocalization in business is a hybrid combination strategy of globalization along with localization. It expresses the interaction and reconciliation of regional / local demands with general efficiency demands of creating products and services for a global market.

In game industry Glocalization is playing a major role in Business development impacting the game development scope by introducing a new value chains and business models by Amplifying the Culture and Social side of games development. How Markets respond to Glocalization? The Session will talk about what it means to connect the global and local markets together in game technology and how this affects the design process. The Lecture will be enriched by real business studies about how cultural differences play a prominent role in game development and storytelling throughout Middle East and Latin America.

Intended Audience: Mobile Game Designers, Programmers and Game Story Tellers. In addition to game business developers who are interested to find a better way to sell their games.

Prerequisites: General Knowledge in Mobile Game Design and Development.
