Security Snapshots
No one buys a bad game because it is secure.
At the same time, there are very real threats against our customers, ranging from the compromise of their computers, to the theft of their identities in virtual worlds, up to the theft of their identities in the real world.
What is the real state of security in software development? How can game developers understand the threats they face without having to devote themselves to security on a full time basis? What are the best practices for secure software development? What parts of modern game development make it a particularly tempting and vulnerable target for attackers?
