Adam Martin Lead Core Programmer, NCsoft
Adam's been working with online and multiplayer games for almost ten years, and still hasn't been tempted to get a "real" job yet. He's done everything from patenting MMO technology to performing a real-life "emergency extraction" by helicopter as part of an alternate reality game. As the CTO for MindCandy, he oversaw development of the live systems and game/web integration for the PERPLEX CITY ARG. He now works for NCsoft on technology and MMO development, with a particular personal interest in finding ways to break online games out of their current clichés - to bring them out of the server and into the wider world. His best advice to online game developers is to remember that hope is not a strategy...
