David Hoppe Principal, Access International Law Group
David Hoppe is a corporate transactional lawyer and the founder of Access International Law Group, a law firm based in San Francisco and Silicon Valley (www.ailawgroup.com), with affiliate relationships internationally. He has over fourteen years of experience negotiating and closing a broad range of international transactions, focusing primarily on media and technology licensing, international mergers/acquisitions and joint ventures, corporate finance, intellectual property, corporate governance, and general corporate matters, as well as early-stage company work. His clients include one of Japan’s largest gaming companies, and he has particular experience with mobile game licensing and related transactions. David spent a total of seven years with the international law firms of White & Case and Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, during which time he was based in New York City, Tokyo, Stockholm, Helsinki, and Los Angeles. David also worked for nearly two years as in-house international counsel with a NASDAQ-listed Silicon Valley internet media and access provider. David has lived in Japan for a total of four years, and travels there frequently to meet with clients and give presentations. He speaks and reads Japanese proficiently.
